Christoffer Bro was born in 1935. Christian Christoffer Christoffersen Bro is the son of a teacher Viggo Johannes Christoffersen Bro (died 1937), and his wife, Sunday school teacher Anna Christensen (d. 1964) He was a stud.mag. and had read of Einar Juhl, when he came on elevskole at Aarhus Theatre 1958-60. There he got immediately debut as the Puk in "A midsummer night's dream". He also proved his comic talent as Jonathan in "the People and robbers", as Elin Reimers partner in the musical "Rose Marie" and as Herløv in "Adventures in Fodrejsen" in 62. In 1959, he was to create Forsøgsscenen in Aarhus. He played in revues at the ABC theatre in 62/63, and on the Danish Skolescene he was Peter in "Anne Frank's diary" in 62 and Leander in "Scapins gavtyvestreger" in 64. In 1963, he was also at the Folketeatret as Pierrot in "Don Juan". In tv he played Les in "jimmy's train" in 63 and Lexy in "Candida" in 64. In Copenhagen he got many good assignments - bl. a. as Kirsebærkat in the "Summer" on Boldhus Theatre, "King Ubu" in The great hall and as charlie Brown in "Peanuts" on the Allé Stage with her sister Vigga Bro as Trine. Christopher Bridge, was a pioneer in outreach theatre work on the country's jobs. He was a director at Gladsaxe Theatre in the years 1972-1984, where bl.a. was shown the following performances: "Niels Klim", "witch-hunt", "Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?" and "Kristihimmelfartsfesten". After time as manager of the theatre continued Christoffer Bro as an actor and has been an instructor at the theatres. He staged the bl.a. the revue "Brawls in July", "Little Malcolm", "the Worker can 300 words", "Who is it that gets cheated", "Månebørn", "Henrik and Pernille" and "With the hat right on the head". He had roles in "The Boys in the Band", "Six on the Weekend", "The old lady is visiting the city", "Clockwork Orange", "Rumors, rumors", "Adventures in fodrejsen", "Brok" and in multitudes of other setups. From 1963 to 1978 he was married to actress Helle Hertz, with whom he had 3 children. They are all - Anders, Peter, Nicolas, and Laura - trained actors. He age as a marine in the film "Sorte Shara" and have over the years had a part småroller. He played Tom in "Paradise return", the Soldier in "Sommerkrig" and he starred in a number of sengekantsfilmm like he had roles on the TV. Bl.a. remembered him for his role as a Shrewd Jørgensen in the christmas calendar "Nissebanden in Greenland" from 1989, and he played the unsympathetic Nicolaisen from Taxanævnet in the TV series "Taxi" in 1998-1999.
