Blanca de Silos was born in 1914 in Vitoria, Álava, País Vasco, Spain. Mary of the Snows Silos and López de la Calle, regarded as the Spanish actress of the postwar period, who used the stage name of Blanca de Silos, died at Segovia, yesterday, Friday, when he was 88 years old. His short career of just 20 years, which peaked with Mariona Rebull, José Luis Sáenz de Heredia, in 1947, began in the theater at the orders of the actor and director, Luis Escobar, in the midst of civil war, in a Segovia, the cradle of the military, that Dionisio Ridruejo proclaimed by decree as 'the city of the auto sacramental'.
